Accomplishment: I'm just going to say
that I was in the right place at the right time. It made it even more
special b/c my parents and wife were there 'enjoying' the moment. Did
I get some breaks? Of course, I don't think you can win any tournament
without having some breaks.
I was rolling the Nomad solid b/c it allowed me to stay to the right
and clear the front part of the lane better than anything else I had. I
had a basic 4 x 5 drilling with no hole. This put the pin just above my
ring finger. Nothing special, just basically over the label. Again, with
the drilling, I could stay right and out of the traffic in the middle part of
the lane.
It seems like the Orleans and the TAT, always has a little area you
can play in between 7-10. Fortunately, I did have a ball that would
allow me to play in that zone. I know everything else I had was either
too strong or just wasn't enough. The Nomad was very beneficial in
helping me win.
